This lesson integrates the language arts in the visual arts.
Summary:
This assignment was done by advanced students. They each wrote a word for these categories (noun, adverb, verb, preposition adjective, noun) and then put them in a pot. Each student drew a word from each pot and put them together to form a sentence. They were to try to depict each word visually together in a picture. This painting originally had fishing worms attached to the sides to show actual shadows.
